AETC Family Day -
Tuesday January 5, 2010 ( Day 74)
First day back! =0 Didn't do anything in terms of flying though.
Wednesday January 6, 2010 ( Day 75)
Got a free flight (C4486) since I haven't flown in 15 days. It was good to get back up in the air. But dang it was cold down here on the ground! 3 degrees C!! Also windy! Gusts of 30 MPH!!!
1.5 hour flight (28.1 hours total T-6 flying time)
88 Total landings
Thursday January 7, 2010 ( Day 76)
Passed yet another EPQ!!! (Emergency Procedure Quiz)! YAY!!!!!
Friday January 8, 2010 ( Day 77)
Flew C4501 in the morning and an instrument sim in the afternoon. (I3001) Both went well. The flight enters me into a new "block" where I perform ADVANCED aerobatics (which are also much more complicated) as well get to fly 2 area solos!!!!!
I looked at my GPS today and noticed that my ground speed was 323 MPH! Sweet! I was a MAX power and using 555 pounds per hour of gas (89 gallons)! (The usual number is 350 pph is normal).
1.4 hour flight (29.5 hours total T-6 flying time)
89 Total landings
How I manage to stay within the area!
My artistic rendition of a MOA's dimensions. You must use
all of the 3 pictures above at the same time. You must do
those maneuvers with those assigned parameters, while staying
in the area using your instruments inside the cockpit, as well as
having overall Situation Awareness (SA) of your altitude, with in your
set 20 radials, and within the distance away. EASY!!!! =0
