IFS Class 09-13
(This is actually during the early rise shift, where I'd wake at 0320,
have formal briefs at 0420, then manually push 40 some
DA-20s out of the hangers on the flight line).
"I didn't sign up for this!" =0

This is from the day that I flew the aircraft with me and only me
in the cockpit! Yep! That means SOLO!!!!! After soloing, my confidence
in making it throughthe programs soared, with the mindset of:
"If I can fly the airplane around all by myself, and not break anything,
then that's got to show that I should PASS this 'screening.'"
This is where everything happened. EVERYTHING! (Except flying)
You would have to go out of your way (WAY OUT OF YOUR WAY) just to
see daylight and breathe fresh air. Even the cafeteria patio had bars around the perimeter! =0
PASS!!!!!
Yep! That's right! I'm outta here!
I passed my check ride the way someone with minimal flight experience should - sweating bullets and hard fought in the trenches!
I've been living in this one building complex for 26 days! Sometimes referred to as "DOSS IFS CORRECTIONAL FACILITY" (due to the windowless rooms and limited outside exposure), it is time to move on to the high roads back to little Mexico!
Thanks for all of the support! It is MOST appreciated!
Take care!
